That must be why the Festival won with ease
The Best Art Show category. Do the math:
We didn’t have to go to it; it came to us.
Or was it the rumpus over the chimp’s penis
In one of Nick’s pics? No, it seems obvious
It was the photos of Sally Mann—that genius.
Whatever the reason, no doubt the Festival
Of the Photograph, like the Festival
Of the Book, is part of Charlottesville’s heart.
So what’s next? Even though it sounds dull,
We vote for The Festival of the Festival.
