Van Halen concert postponed [February 22]

There will be no “Runnin’ With The Devil” or getting “Hot For Teacher” tonight.

There will be no “Runnin’ With The Devil” or getting “Hot For Teacher” tonight. Van Halen, who were scheduled to play at John Paul Jones Arena, will instead reschedule the show for an as-of-yet unannounced date. Tickets for tonight will be honored then, and refunds will be available at the point of purchase. JPJ’s press release does not give a reason for the postponement.

Update 4:40pm: Ryan Shaw, who was slated to open for Van Halen, has scheduled a show at Outback Lodge tonight at 8pm, according to 106.1 The Corner. The cover is $10.

And the JPJ will not rock (at least not tonight): Van Halen postpones gig.
