 With the county proposing to fund Albemarle County Schools $1.9 million less than requested, the School Board has floated the idea of making students pay for bus service, according to The Daily Progress. School Board members didn’t elaborate on the mechanics of the proposal, and at least some supervisors were highly skeptical.
