Ming-Qing Antique Furniture, the Chinese antique furniture store next door to Miller’s, is moving to Greenwood, Virginia.

Owner Haiou Liu says the store is moving to “a private, smaller gallery” at Mirador Farm near Greenwood, in Albemarle County.

As for the effective closing date, Liu says there isn’t a strict deadline. “As soon as I sell a lot of pieces,” she says. “Maybe in a couple of months.”

While this is the first closing C-VILLE has noticed on the west end of the Mall, several stores have shuttered on the east end.

The Ming-Qing Antique Furniture is leaving the Mall for the environs of Greenwood.
