Rob Schilling fans are rejoicing. WINA 1070 AM newsradio announced yesterday that “The Schilling Show” is coming back Monday, January 26 in an expanded two-hour format, from noon to 2pm.

In a press release, WINA Program Director Rick Daniels said that “Rob’s voice is unique and necessary in our community.” Schilling is a former city councilor, the only Republican to have held that office since the 1980s.

On December 22, WINA pulled the show because of budget cuts and replaced it with Laura Ingraham’s syndicated talk program.

Soon after the show was cancelled, Schilling fans created the “Bring Rob Schilling Back” blog.
