We asked The Alley Light’s Micah LeMon to help us summerify a run-of-the-mill margarita. The recipe’s below, and in the current issue of Knife & Fork, you’ll find a few others worth trying. It’s on stands now!
2 oz. Blanco Tequila
1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
1/2 oz. agave nectar
2 oz. fresh watermelon juice*
Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Add ice. Shake for 12 seconds. Double strain into a collins glass over ice. Garnish with a lime wheel and a watermelon spear.
*To make watermelon juice, toss slices of seedless watermelon into a blender and then strain.
