Rather than knock down their modest brick Cape Cod on Park Street, homeowners David Heilbronner and Lynn Valentine enlisted architect Candace Smith to completely reimagine its footprint. “There was a sense about the old house that felt good, if you could look past the problems,” Heilbronner says.
