A Woodbrook Elementary School student died Saturday from complications of the flu virus.
NBC29 reports that the child had an underlying health condition and that the cause of death is still to be determined.
Despite the fact that last Thursday 15 Woodbrook Elementary School students were reportedly out sick, officials are telling parents not to be overly concerned. According to the TV station, Albemarle schools won’t close.
