Some say it’s the journey that matters, not the destination. At C-VILLE, we spend a lot of time saying just the opposite. In fact, it seems like we’re always professing our affection for Destination: Charlottesville—whether with our annual Food & Drink issue, this year’s list of the area’s 25 coolest places, the Summer Guide, or Best of C-VILLE (on stands August 20!). In other words, this is our town and since everyone wants to be a local these days, we thought we’d put together a little test. It’s one thing to know where all the hot spots are, but what about the secret nooks and crannies? We’ve compiled 28 images of those hidden corners. Think you know where they are? Mail in the contest form (in the print edition) and you could win a handsome prize (deets below). If there’s one thing we love more than Charlottesville, it’s getting a reward.

Get your form (found in the print edition) to C-VILLE (SCAVENGER HUNT, 308 E. Main St., Charlottesville, VA 22902) with as many answers as you can muster (be specific!) by Wednesday, July 24. The person with the most correct answers wins. We’ll announce the top three winners in the July 30 issue.
