And dreaming big: Imagine if Chef Harrison Keevil showed up at your place to prepare a backyard barbecue for 50. Or what if The Bebedero delivered scrumptious modern-Mexican food to your door twice a week for a whole year?
Both of these items, plus 10 other once-in-a-lifetime experiences (baby goats!), could be yours during C-VILLE Serving Up Relief, a four-week fundraiser that runs from July 15-August 11, and benefits Cultivate Charlottesville’s launch of a food equity fund.[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Cultivate Charlottesville
Good, nutritious food is a basic human right—and no person in the Charlottesville area should go without it. Ever. And that’s why Cultivate Charlottesville created the Food Equity Fund, which will:[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]
- Support healthy school snacks and meals for Charlottesville City School youth.
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]
- Increase Charlottesville urban agriculture, so more students, families, and community members can access land to grow their own food.
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]
- Amplify community advocates, Black farmers, student interns, and housing residents in food system decision-making.
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]
- Increase markets where neighbors can access affordable, healthy, fresh food.
