Sound of The Sound and the Fury: Faulkner at Virginia site launched

Offers audio from lectures presented by UVA’s first Writer-in-Residence

The University of Virginia recently debuted "Faulkner in Virginia," a website that offers audio recordings of the lectures, Q & A sessions and—dare we?—the sound and fury of UVA’s first Writer-in-Residence, William Faulkner.

Newsweek and NPR weigh in on the site, which launched last week. You can also read a preview article about the site published in UVA’s Arts & Sciences blog, in which a UVA alum recounts photographing the Nobel Prize winner as he emerged from the ABC store on Main Street. Give it a listen.
