The Charlottesville Police Department is trying to track down Kajie Leroy Hayes, a violent sex offender who failed to re-register. According to Charlottesville police, Hayes—a 30-year-old African American male, roughly 5’11" tall and 180 pounds—is "believed to be in the Charlottesville area." Anyone with information is asked to call the city’s CrimeStoppers line: 977-4000. There is a reward for information that leads to an arrest.
