Ralph Leon Jackson, the 56-year-old Stuarts Draft resident charged with the murder of 27-year-old WNRN DJ Tim Davis and an assault on an 18-year-old woman that sent her tumbling 150′ off a cliff, is expected to plead guilty in federal district court on Wednesday. Jackson faces two assault charges, two weapons charges and one charge of premeditated murder, for which he could face the death penalty.
"While I cannot discuss details of the hearing at this time, it is anticipated that Mr. Jackson will plead guilty at that hearing," says Brian McGinn, spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, in an e-mail.
The shootings take place on the Blue Ridge Parkway last April. In a search warrant, Jackson attributed his "fuzzy" mental state to male enhancement medication. C-VILLE previously took a look at some of the side effects to Viagra, Cialis and Levitra.
