Sure, you can toss out $10 for O’Death‘s hellfire folk set on Friday at Gravity Lounge. But the New York-bred genre junkies are as inviting with their fans as they are with their musical influences—everyone’s welcome to the slaughter. And, if last year’s Broken Hymns, Limbs and Skin is any indication, Friday’s going to be quite a show.
So I have a free pair of tickets for the first person to complete this task successfully: On a 2007 EP, O’Death covered a song by well-known indie rock act The Pixies. Name that song.
And for any nonbelievers out there, watch O’Death perform "Legs to Sin" live at the Bowery Ballroom.
O’Death performs on Friday, January 30, at Gravity Lounge. Tickets are $7 in advance, $10 at the door; show starts at 10pm.
