Glam romance: A modern winter wedding photo shoot calls for sparkle

It’s hard to deny the enchantment of a rustic Virginia wedding—with its pastel palette, woodsy accents, and laid-back attitude. But with the help of SOIREE’s Julianne Giuliano, we styled this modern French-inspired fête to help take your wedding planning in a chic new direction. Shot at a private home in Albemarle, it has a gold and mint color scheme and enough sparkle to last you ’til your golden anniversary.

Every last detail

Real pears were gilded with spraypaint, then hung on a tree with escort cards pinned to each one. Acetate transparency film functioned as guests’ menus when laid atop the dinner plate. The paper suite from Rock Paper Scissors gave guests a hint at the sparkles to come with a glitter-lined envelope. Floral Images created a runner from guilded gold magnolia leaves, white and mint green hydrangea, open garden roses, combo gold roses, white and gold pepper berry. A table number tucked into acacia foliage and seeded eucalyptus, which draped over the edge of the table to the floor with a finishing touch of hanging green amaranthus.
